Hopson and Lazer published Field Recordings of Mind in Morning, a book with accompanying audio recordings, and are engaged in a series of live poetry and music performances. Hopson also designed a novel gestural controller developed to complement the pictorial form of Lazer’s poems. Because the controller requires touch and is geared toward audience participation, this aspect of the collaboration was paused during the pandemic.

Portions of this project were performed at the New Orleans Poetry Festival in April of 2021.
