Bio

Luvada A. Harrison is an Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre/Voice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Music Education from Towson University, a Masters of Music in Opera Performance from Binghamton University and a Doctorate of Music in Voice/Opera Performance from Florida State University where she was the recipient of the University Fellowship.

Professionally she has sung with regional orchestras and opera companies throughout the United States and Europe. In addition to performing in television, film, and theatre. Most recently, she collaborated with choreographer Cornelius Carter on a voice and dance piece to be performed at the Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her research interests include vocal health, neuroscience and interdisciplinary collaborations with historians, creative writers, composers and dancers.
