Bio
Erin Stoneking is an assistant professor in the department of Gender & Race Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Performing and Media Arts from Cornell University and an M.A. in Performance Studies from New York University. Her current research investigates contemporary embodied encounters with the U.S. Southern past with an emphasis on counter-hegemonic performance practices. Also a dramaturg, she most recently served as the Resident Dramaturg for English Theatre Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany.
