Bio
Mengya Xia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Alabama in the Developmental Science area. Her research focuses on understanding ways to promote child and adolescent well-being in the family context and other ecological systems, with an emphasis on fostering adolescent relationship health, social-emotional development, competence and character strengths development, and flourishing as a whole. The ultimate goals of her research is to inform prevention/intervention to promote child and adolescent health and well-being in real life.
