The CARI Review Board advises the Director and Assistant Director on issues of governance. With the addition of ad hoc members to represent particular areas of expertise, it also serves as a standing review committee for Fellowship applications and other CARI-sponsored and co-sponsored funding opportunities. CARI Review Board members serve 1-2 year terms, overlapping with new members appointed annually.
