On September 16,  the Collaborative Arts Research Initiative in collaboration with the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host guest speaker Jha D Williams, Senior Associate with MASS Design Group.  Ms. Williams will present on the connections between design, public memory, and memorialization. Doug Baulos is a professor of Drawing and Foundations at The University of Alabama at Birmingham whose work explores the history of objects and is centered on ideas of spirituality, love, death, shelter, reclamation, and hope.
