What happens when an historian and a performing artist collaborate on a project? History comes alive!

Join us for the University of Alabama premier of “The Visit” – a short documentary film premiere about the historic Address given by Booker T. Washington at First African Baptist Church on February 20, 1910. The viewing will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Hilary Green, Associate Professor in Gender and Race Studies, Dr. Luvada Harrison, Assistant Professor in Theatre and Dance, Dr. Alexis Davis-Hazell, Assistant Professor of Music, and guest artist Earl Hazell on the evolution and process of bringing this CARI Project to fruition during the pandemic.
